I have a rabbit
You are very fond of your rabbit and, of course, you want to be sure that he or she is contented. It’s why you’ll always look for the best solution if you are going on holiday or are planning a weekend away. And did you know that we could help if your rabbit needs a trim, for example, or suddenly starts behaving strangely? Check out our offering and the many ways we can help.
TOGETHER
Every rabbit with an owner helps a rabbit without an owner.
BESPOKE
We offer something for everyone, because every animal and every person is different.
EXPERIENCE
We have been the best friend of animals in Amsterdam since 1901.

A playmate for your rabbit!
It’s imperative that rabbits enjoy social interaction with their peers. They are highly social animals and they need a companion to care for and preen one another and make each other feel safe. There are many important reasons why a rabbit shouldn’t be alone. Human contact, or contact with a cat or guinea pig, for example, might provide some form of distraction, but it’s no substitute for contact with their own kind. If you’re wondering how you can arrange a suitable companion for your rabbit, just make an appointment with our professionals to get him or her “connected”. We have more than enough potential companions from which to choose!
What if you’re no longer there to care for your rabbit?
Nobody likes to think about dying, but it’s important to consider what will then happen to your pet. Would a family member or a friend be able to take your rabbit in, for example? If not, perhaps our “When you’re no longer there” arrangement might be a good option.
Within the framework of our “When you’re no longer there” arrangement, the DOA will assume responsibility for your rabbit if you die. This will give you the peace of mind that he or she will be in good hands, which in itself is very reassuring. It’s easy to register for the arrangement; simply complete the form and return it to us.
