Everything about rabbits
I'm looking for a rabbit
Great that you are looking for a new bunny! Our rabbits can’t wait to meet you! Check out their profiles and make an appointment for a first date! Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, we can not schedule as many appointments as we like. This means that the waiting time to come by is longer than usual. Please keep in mind that at the moment only two people from the same family are alowed. We do our best to help you find a new buddy within the guidelines and limitations that exist. Would you like to make an appointment? Please mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
At DOA, every rabbit with an owner supports a rabbit without one.
Because every person and animal is different, we have something for everyone.
We’ve been Amsterdam’s go-to animal friend since 1901.
A playmate for your rabbit!
Rabbits are highly sociable animals that need social interaction with their peers. They need a companion to care for and groom one another and make each other feel safe. Human contact, or contact with a cat or guinea pig, for example, might provide some form of distraction, but it’s no substitute for contact with their own kind. If you’re wondering how you can arrange a suitable companion for your rabbit, just make an appointment with our professionals to get him or her “connected”. We have more than enough potential companions from which to choose!
What if you’re no longer here to care for your rabbit?
No one likes to think about dying. However, it is important to consider what should happen to your pet then. Can your rabbit be taken in by a friend or a family member? If the answer is no, then our ‘When My Owner is No Longer Here’ scheme might be a good option.
With the ‘When My Owner is No Longer Here’ scheme, DOA will take care of your rabbit after your death. You can rest assured that your mate will be well-taken care of. Registering is easy, please fill out a form and we’ll get in touch with you.
